Kids earn with web£2.00

Kids in wired families can now earn money through a new social networking site called PayJr. Parents enter a household chore online and give it a cash value. When the chore has been succesfully completed their child is credited with the cash.

The site has instant messaging, text messaging and email notifications – so the kids can’t say, “I never knew I was meant to clean out the budgie cage/load the fridge with dad’s beers/clean up after the baby-sitter.”

Basically it’s a CRM billing system for the family.

At the other end of the scale, Courvoisier is launching a social network for 500 elite business stars of the future. The campaign has been launched in conjunction with The Observer newspaper, in what looks like a very clever media tie-up.
