The Digital world is getting closer and closer to the real world as Rob described below. You might be familiar with Mixed Tape from Mercedes Benz, where the artists you prefer gather to create the ultimate driving tunes that you can then download for free, pretty cool.
A few days ago Sony and Nissan released this announcement and managed to create a whole wave of interest and praise. The idea itself is just brilliant, let anybody drive at their best (online) in the “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue” on the Playstation 3, then invite the fastest 22 people to Silverstone to do it in a real race car, then select the two best drivers, train them for another 4 months and have them drive the REAL 24 hours of Dubai race.
